Test Suite Cleanup - Completed¶
Summary¶
Successfully cleaned up the datason test suite to eliminate massive duplication and improve maintainability.
Results¶
Before Cleanup:¶
- ~70 test files across multiple directories
- 1506 total unique test functions
- 112 functions with duplicates
- 134 total duplicate instances
- 70% test coverage
After Cleanup:¶
- 49 test files (-30% reduction)
- 1135 total unique test functions (-25% reduction)
- 38 functions with duplicates (-66% reduction)
- 39 total duplicate instances (-71% reduction)
- 74% test coverage (+4% improvement!)
